Shop Technician – Body & Heavy-Duty Repair
City Paint & Body is looking for a dependable Body Shop Technician to join our team. We work on commercial fleet vehicles, medium-duty trucks, semi-trucks, trailers, utility trucks, and some passenger vehicles. Our work includes collision repair, body repair, fabrication, paint prep, and general repair work, but we do not focus on retail passenger-vehicle work.
What You’ll Do
- Perform maintenance, repair, and installation work on medium-duty, semi-trucks, trailers, and heavy-duty equipment
- Assist with body work, suspension components, and general shop repairs
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment
- Inspect equipment, identify issues, and support repair planning
- Help maintain and repair shop equipment to keep operations running smoothly
- Keep accurate job notes and maintenance records
- Assist with parts identification and ordering
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
- Support the team wherever needed to keep work moving
What We’re Looking For
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Ability to work in a team-focused, fast-paced shop environment
- Experience with heavy-duty trucks/trailers is a plus (not required for the right candidate)

Pay: $15.00 - $28.00 per hour
