Altair Restaurant is looking for a skilled Pizza Cook / Line Cook to join our culinary team. This position is perfect for someone who is comfortable working a busy pizza station while also contributing on the hot line during dinner service.
We're looking for a dependable cook with a strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and the ability to work cleanly and efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities
-
Prepare and cook artisan pizzas during dinner service

Stretch dough, build pizzas, and monitor oven quality and timing

Assist on the hot line as needed during service

Prepare station mise en place and maintain proper pars
-
Cook proteins, pasta, and other menu items as directed
-
Follow recipes and plating standards with consistency

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
-
Work closely with the culinary team to ensure smooth service
Qualifications
-
Previous experience working a pizza station is required

Experience on a professional line preferred

Ability to multitask during high-volume service

Strong work ethic and positive attitude

Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Ability to follow direction and maintain high standards of quality
