We are a 4 doctor office private practice! We are looking to fill a part time or full time hygienist position - Mondays, Tuesdays, & Wednesdays. Our hours are 10a-6p. We are one of the last remaining offices that are not corporate owned!

Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to promote optimal oral health.
- Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using advanced medical imaging equipment while maintaining strict infection prevention protocols.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options in a clear, engaging manner.
- Assist dentists during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to ensure efficiency and comfort.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for accurate documentation of patient information, treatment plans, and medical records.
- Follow HIPAA guidelines diligently to maintain patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Support infection control measures by adhering to aseptic techniques and sterilization protocols in accordance with healthcare infection prevention standards.
- Review documentation for accuracy, assist with medical coding when necessary, and ensure all clinical procedures meet industry standards.
- Collaborate with team members to provide seamless patient care, including chairside assisting and patient care management.
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice.
- Proven experience in general dentistry or pediatric dentistry settings preferred; familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus.
- Proficiency in dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix; experience with EMR systems is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and dental equipment operation.
- Expertise in infection prevention management, aseptic technique, and healthcare infection control practices.
- Ability to perform dental assisting tasks including chairside assisting and taking medical images accurately.
- Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration.
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance management and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
- Demonstrated ability to review documentation thoroughly and manage medical coding efficiently.

Pay: $44.00 - $53.00 per hour
