American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with a minimum of 2 years of current OR experience for a day-shift hospital position requiring on-call availability and flexibility to float within the health system.

Monday through Friday day shift, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (5x8 schedule)

After-hours on-call required from 3:30 PM to 7:00 AM on weekdays, with weekend on-call coverage from Friday at 3:30 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM

Surgical services unit serving patients across multiple surgical specialties

Floating required within scope of practice to meet facility needs, including to sister facilities within the health system

Minimum of 2 years of current surgical/OR experience required

CST credential via NBSTSA or TS-C credential via NCCT required

BLS certification required

Experience scrubbing in multiple surgical specialties preferred

Candidate's permanent address must be more than 75 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible

Valid driver's license or state-issued ID and a utility bill in the traveler's name with a matching address from within the last 3 months required for consideration

Two supervisory references required for consideration

RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer per 13-week assignment; no holiday or blackout dates may be requested

Former permanent staff of this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
