We are seeking an experienced Sales & Service Manager to lead our service department, support our sales team, improve operational performance, and drive revenue growth.
Position Summary
The Sales & Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily performance of Drain Mob's service department while coaching and developing technicians and estimators to maximize customer satisfaction, revenue, and profitability.
This position combines leadership, sales coaching, operational oversight, and customer service management. The ideal candidate is highly organized, data-driven, and experienced in both field service operations and sales performance management.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and develop Drain Technicians and Estimators.
- Conduct ride-alongs, performance reviews, and ongoing training.
- Hold team members accountable to company standards, processes, and goals.
- Foster a positive, high-performance culture focused on growth and customer satisfaction.
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and retention efforts.
Sales Management
- Monitor estimate conversion rates and sales performance.
- Coach estimators and technicians on sales techniques and customer communication.
- Review unsold estimates and implement follow-up strategies.
- Track KPIs including:
- Revenue
- Average Ticket
- Conversion Rate
- Gross Profit
- Membership Sales
- Lead-to-Sale Performance
- Work with marketing and operations teams to maximize lead opportunities.
Service Operations
- Oversee daily service department operations.
- Ensure technicians are properly dispatched and supported.
- Monitor service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Review completed jobs for accuracy, profitability, and compliance.
- Assist with resolving customer concerns and escalated service issues.
- Ensure company policies, safety standards, and procedures are followed.
Financial Performance
- Manage department revenue and profitability goals.
- Review pricing, margins, and technician performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Assist ownership with budgeting and forecasting.
Customer Experience
- Ensure exceptional customer service throughout every stage of the customer journey.
- Handle escalated customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Promote a culture focused on communication, integrity, and customer satisfaction.
QualificationsRequired
- 5+ years of leadership experience in plumbing, drains, sewer, underground utilities, HVAC, restoration, or a similar home service industry.
- Proven experience managing service technicians and/or sales teams.
- Strong understanding of sales metrics and KPI management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to motivate and develop employees.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Preferred
- Experience with ServiceTitan.
- Experience managing commission-based sales teams.
- Knowledge of drain cleaning, sewer repair, trenchless technology, or underground utility services.
- Previous P&L responsibility.

Compensation:
- Competitive Base Salary: $90,000 – $120,000+ DOE
