Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic BOM/HR Director to lead our human resources and business operations functions. In this pivotal role, you will drive talent acquisition, employee relations, organizational design, and compliance initiatives while partnering with senior leadership to shape the company's strategic direction. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive talent acquisition strategies, including sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and employee orientation programs to attract top talent.
- Lead HR sourcing efforts utilizing HR systems such as Work recruitment and data management. Work with union.
- Oversee employee performance management processes, including evaluations, coaching, conflict resolution, and misconduct investigations to maintain a high-performing workforce.
- Manage benefits administration, payroll processing with systems like ADP or Paychex, and ensure compliance with employment & labor laws such as FMLA and OSHA regulations.
- Design organization structures and implement succession planning initiatives aligned with strategic goals; manage change management projects for continuous process improvement.
- Supervise HR teams in handling employee relations issues, disciplinary actions, and regulatory compliance management while fostering a culture of equal employment opportunity (EEO).
- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning initiatives related to human capital management, HR legal compliance, and workforce analytics for data-driven decision-making.
Skills
- Proven expertise in negotiation, talent management, and employment law in talent management practices.
- Extensive supervising experience in human resources teams with strong team leadership capabilities.
- Skilled in HR sourcing strategies, employee evaluation techniques, and employee relations management.
- Deep understanding of benefits administration, payroll systems like Paychex or Paylocity, and regulatory compliance including OSHA and Workers' Compensation.
- Excellent communication skills paired with strategic thinking in HR leadership; adept at presentation skills for executive reporting.
