Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. As an Entry-Level Carpenter, you will gain hands-on experience working alongside seasoned professionals on residential, commercial, and restoration projects. Duties
- Assist in reading and interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and schematics to understand project requirements.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform tasks such as framing, siding, drywall installation, and fixture mounting.
- Support the installation of doors, windows, cabinets, trim, and other fixtures with precision and care.
- Participate in framing activities including wood framing
- Help with restoration projects
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks and material handling to ensure efficient workflow on-site.
- Follow all safety protocols related to power tool operation, scaffolding use, and construction site safety standards.
- Help sheetrock, paint, tile.
Skills
- Basic understanding of construction estimating and reading construction plans or blueprints.
- Familiarity with hand tools such as hammers, saws, chisels, levels, and measuring tapes; experience with power tools like drills, saws, grinders is a plus.
- Knowledge of construction site safety practices including power tool safety and proper lifting techniques.
- Experience or interest in various carpentry disciplines including trim carpentry, framing (metal stud or wood), cabinetry installation, door hanging, flooring installation, tile laying, siding work, roofing basics, and drywall finishing.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately for precise project execution.
- Exposure to related fields such as masonry, plumbing basics, electrical work, manufacturing processes like CNC or assembly are beneficial.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn new skills in restoration industry practices such as water damage restoration or mold remediation is highly valued.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
