Job Summary (Please Read First)
We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and experienced caregiver to provide one-on-one care for an 83-year-old female client.
This position is best suited for a caregiver who enjoys providing companionship while maintaining a safe, calm, and supportive environment. The client uses a walker and requires continuous standby assistance while ambulating due to fall risk and lower extremity weakness.
The ideal caregiver understands how to offer support without taking over, respects the client's independence, and knows how to adapt to the client's personality and pace. This client appreciates a calm, reassuring caregiver who is attentive without being overly talkative or overly directive.
If you naturally provide thoughtful, respectful care and enjoy building meaningful relationships with seniors, this may be an excellent fit for you.
Schedule: Night shifts, Fridays and Saturdays, 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Pay: $23.00 per hour, based on experience.
Position Overview
This position focuses on companionship, safety, and mobility support while helping the client remain comfortable and independent in her home.
The caregiver should be observant, proactive, and able to recognize changes in the client's condition while providing compassionate support throughout the shift.
Key Responsibilities

Required Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional caregiving experience preferred
- Experience caring for seniors with mobility limitations
- Experience working with fall-risk clients
- Strong observation and communication skills
- Professional, dependable, and reliable
- Ability to work independently and with a Team
Required Qualifications & Credentials
- Resume required
- Valid California ID or Driver License
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Current CPR Certification
- Current TB Clearance
- Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) Registration (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to provide 3–5 professional work references
