我们是位于bellevue 的一个小小的创意美术教室，我们的孩子主要是3-6岁的孩子，在这个美丽的夏天，我们的summer camp以project based的方式，带领孩子们一起完成了非常多丰富的主题学习。我们在8/24号那一周还需要1-2位TA 老师，如果您讲中文，有preschool或者school setting的工作经验，喜欢孩子，喜欢美术，喜欢有趣好玩的活动，欢迎加入我们一起度过8月的最后一周。我们给TA老师非常有竞争力的薪水，包工作午饭和零食。如果我们互相喜欢，未来我们还有更多有趣的美术课程和camp可以继续合作。期待你的加入
Join our vibrant summer camp team as a Summer Camp Teacher (夏令营老师) and ignite the spirit of adventure, learning, and personal growth in young minds! This dynamic role offers an exciting opportunity to lead engaging activities, foster a safe and inclusive environment, and inspire children through educational and recreational programs. As a vital part of our camp community, you will create memorable experiences that promote development, teamwork, and fun. Duties
- Design and facilitate a variety of engaging outdoor and indoor activities that promote childhood development, teamwork, and creativity.
- Manage classroom settings to ensure smooth operation, positive behavior management, and safety for all children.
- Supervise children at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being during activities, meals, rest periods, and transitions.
- Implement first aid protocols promptly and effectively in case of injuries or emergencies, including CPR and AED operation when necessary.
- Collaborate with fellow staff members to plan youth group activities that align with developmental goals and camp themes.
- Maintain clear communication with parents or guardians regarding children's progress or concerns when appropriate.
- Uphold all safety standards, including child supervision regulations, behavior management policies, and health protocols to ensure a secure environment for everyone.
Qualifications
- We are a Mandarin immersion program so Mandarin speaking is a must.
- Prior experience working with children in educational settings, daycare centers, or camp environments is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated skills in classroom management, behavior management, and child supervision.
- Certification in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, and familiarity with first aid protocols.
- Experience in special education or youth development programs is a plus.
- Strong team leadership abilities with the capacity to work collaboratively in a fast-paced outdoor or indoor setting.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and effective teaching strategies for young children.
- Ability to engage children through creative activities such as sports coaching, theater experiences, or arts & crafts.
- Excellent communication skills with an energetic attitude that motivates children to participate actively and safely.
