Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years MRI experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Take your MRI expertise to a dynamic clinical setting in a 13-week assignment supporting both inpatient and outpatient populations. This role offers the opportunity to perform advanced magnetic resonance imaging procedures in a modern clinic. You’ll be integral in ensuring accurate diagnosis and exceptional patient care, utilizing Siemens MRI equipment and the Epic EMR system.
Schedule:
- 5x8 hour shifts
- Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years’ MRI technologist experience
- Siemens equipment and Epic system familiarity preferred
- Current BLS certification (AHA only)
- MRT and ARRT-MR credentials
- Experience with both clinic and hospital environments is beneficial
- Professional communication and patient care skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality MRI procedures following exam protocols with minimal supervision
- Prepare and position patients ensuring safety, comfort, and an excellent standard of care
- Effectively use the AIDET framework to communicate with patients and families
- Maintain compliance with all safety, infection control, drug, and radiation requirements
- Handle documentation, records, and consent forms according to departmental standards
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment, reporting any issues promptly
- Collaborate with physicians, engineers, and support staff to optimize operations
- Serve as a role model and preceptor for onboarding or team training as needed
