Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Daytime Host to create a welcoming and engaging environment for our guests. As the first point of contact, you will ensure a seamless experience from the moment guests arrive, guiding them through their visit with warmth and professionalism. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will set the tone for a memorable guest experience, fostering positive relations and encouraging repeat visits. Duties
- Greet guests promptly with a friendly and positive attitude, making them feel valued and comfortable.
- Manage reservations, walk-ins, and guest inquiries efficiently.
- Coordinate seating arrangements and wait times to optimize guest flow and satisfaction.
- Provide accurate information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to enhance guest experience.
- Handle guest concerns or complaints with professionalism, ensuring swift resolution and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and waiting areas in accordance with food safety standards.
- Assist with phone etiquette by answering calls politely, taking to go orders, managing reservations, and providing information clearly.
- Taking and bagging to go orders
- Running the cash register to ring out customers.
Qualifications
- Previous host/hostess experience in a fast-paced food service or restaurant environment is preferred.
- Must be available Tuesday-Friday 10am-4pm
- Must be out of school, POSITON IS NOT A SUMMER JOB POSITION
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for hospitality and guest relations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage confidently with diverse guests.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures.
- Organizational skills to manage reservations, waitlists, and guest flow efficiently.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude.
