We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Veterinary Technician with at least 8 years of experience to join our team and lead. Possibility of promoting to be a clinic assistant manager/ manager in the near future
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians in diagnosing and treating animals, utilizing your knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal physiology.
- Perform routine laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis, ensuring accurate results for effective treatment plans.
- Taking radiographs
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian while maintaining precise medical records.
- Provide exceptional animal care through proper restraint techniques, catheterization, and grooming as needed.
- Monitor patients during surgical procedures and recovery, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques to prevent infection.
- Educate pet owners on proper animal husbandry practices, nutrition, and preventive care to promote overall health.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive environment that fosters teamwork and compassion for all animals.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the clinic, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Veterinary Technician with at least 5 years of Experience
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members effectively.
