Duties
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Serve food, cocktails, spirits, wine, and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
- Upsell menu items and drink specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Process cash and credit card transactions accurately while handling cash safely and responsibly
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations, including food handling and kitchen support when needed
- Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and providing exceptional guest relations throughout their visit
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining preferred
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Demonstrated ability in wine knowledge, spirits experience, cocktail preparation, and beverage service
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy hours
- Proven customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest satisfaction
- Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in serving in a hospitality or food industry setting with a focus on guest relations and sales excellence
