Seeking an experienced professional to provide school psychology services across a K-8 district on a full-time contract basis. This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the academic and social success of students while collaborating with educators and families.
Your responsibilities will include conducting student assessments, developing and implementing IEPs, offering counseling services, and working alongside teachers and administrators to foster positive learning environments. You will play an integral role in multidisciplinary teams, interpreting evaluation data and providing recommendations to support student growth.
Ideal candidates should possess:
- State certification or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with K-8 student populations
- Strong assessment, report writing, and data interpretation skills
- Ability to consult and collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff
- Proven ability to manage time and caseload efficiently in a school setting
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments for referred students within the district
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Provide individual and group counseling services as needed
- Collaborate on the creation and progression of behavioral intervention plans
- Maintain detailed records and documentation per district requirements
This position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 7:45 AM to 4:00 PM, allowing you to plan your balance of work and personal commitments with ease.
