Pipefitter Foreman – Austin, TX
Pay: $38.00–$44.00 per hour + bonus
Sign-On Bonus: $5,000–$8,000
Schedule: Full-time + overtime
The Opportunity
We are hiring multiple experienced Pipefitter Foremen for full-time commercial and mechanical construction work in the Austin, TX area.
This is an opportunity for experienced pipefitting professionals who are ready to lead field crews while staying actively involved in day-to-day construction operations. The Pipefitter Foreman will work directly with the Superintendent to coordinate piping crews, field installation activities, manpower, materials, and daily production.
We are looking for someone who knows the trade, can lead a crew, read drawings and piping layouts, and keep field work moving safely and efficiently.
What You'll Do
- Lead and coordinate daily activities for assigned pipefitting crews.
- Direct piping layout, installation, assembly, and completion.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, specifications, and piping layouts.
- Coordinate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment with the Superintendent.
- Assign work and provide clear daily direction to the crew.
- Monitor field production and help keep piping work on schedule.
- Communicate material, manpower, scheduling, and installation concerns to field leadership.
- Identify installation conflicts and communicate field issues to the Superintendent.
- Coordinate piping work with other trades and field personnel.
- Reinforce jobsite safety procedures and safe work practices.
- Help ensure piping installations meet project expectations for quality and completion.
- Remain hands-on and involved in field operations as needed.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of pipefitting and/or Pipefitter Foreman experience.
- Strong hands-on pipefitting and piping installation knowledge.
- Previous experience leading or directing field crews.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and piping layouts.
- Strong understanding of piping installation and field construction.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with Superintendents and other field personnel.
- A leadership approach focused on safety, quality, organization, and productivity.
