Overview
Global consumer goods company looking to hire entry level Lab Technician to their team. Must bring a BS Degree and prior experience within hair care products is highly preferred!
Responsibilities
- Support the formulation, testing, and development of innovative shampoo and hair care products.
- Prepare prototype shampoo formulas following specific laboratory batch records.
- Measure pH, viscosity, density, and solid content of experimental batches.
- Track raw materials, chemicals, and laboratory supplies to ensure zero downtime.
- Operate and maintain mixers, viscometers, pH meters, and laboratory scales.
- Record precise experimental data, stability observations, and test results in lab notebooks.
- Monitor product samples under various temperature and light conditions over time.
- Maintain a safe, sanitary, and organized laboratory environment according to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Degree in related discipline (Chemistry, Biology, etc.) and/or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of complex laboratory techniques, equipment, terminology, materials and substances
- Skilled in the use of laboratory equipment, ability to create and analyze statistical calculations and prepare reports
