Job Description
- Manage a diverse caseload of general liability, insurance defense, tort, and employment litigation matters.
- Represent clients through all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation.
- Develop litigation strategy and provide practical legal counsel to clients.
- Conduct legal research and draft high-quality motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Attend court appearances, hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and depositions.
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff to efficiently manage cases and deliver exceptional client service.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities for continued growth.
Qualifications
- Active Illinois Bar license required.
- 3+ years of Illinois insurance defense litigation experience.
- Strong experience handling general liability matters.
- Excellent written, verbal, and courtroom communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Indiana Bar license preferred.
- Tort and employment litigation experience preferred.
- Portable book of business is welcomed but not required.

Pay: $115,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
