Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming shopping experience by actively engaging with them.
- Assist customers in selecting products, offering knowledgeable advice on features, benefits, and usage.
- Process transactions accurately using cash handling, cashiering, and cash management procedures, including cash register operations and balancing tills.
- Handle customer inquiries regarding products, services, and store policies with clear communication and professionalism.
- Maintain organized merchandise displays and ensure the sales floor is clean, inviting, and well-stocked.
- Support loan processing or financial service transactions when applicable, ensuring accuracy in all financial software entries.
- Perform basic math calculations for sales totals, discounts, or financial transactions using retail math skills such as 10 key typing and basic math principles.
Skills
- Proven experience in retail sales with a strong focus on customer service excellence.
- Knowledge of banking or financial services is a plus, especially related to loan processing or cash management.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, retail math calculations, and financial transactions.
- Familiarity with financial software systems used in retail or banking environments.
- Strong communication skills to effectively assist customers and collaborate with team members.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of cashiering procedures including cash handling, balancing registers, and cash management techniques.
