American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab RN for a Level 1 trauma hospital position requiring a CO or compact RN license and prior cath lab experience.

Acute care setting within a Cardiac Cath Lab unit at a Level 1 trauma facility
-
Unit includes 2 cath labs, 2 EP labs, and 1 hybrid room, averaging 17 cases per day
-
Patient population includes typical cardiac patients, acute MI, electrophysiology, and structural heart cases

Uses EPIC EMR and MacLab equipment
-
Day shift schedule, 4x10s from 7a-530p
-
Combination of assigned and self-scheduling
-
Weekday call required approximately 1 night per week
-
Weekend call required approximately 1 weekend per 6-week schedule
-
Some holiday call required
-
Call response time is 30 minutes
-
No floating outside of the unit except in extreme circumstances, which would be limited to the designated hospital zone

Active CO or compact RN license required

Current ACLS and BLS certification (AHA) required

Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

Prior cath lab experience required

EPIC EMR experience preferred

Valid driver's license required for consideration

Responsibilities include monitoring and circulating during cardiac procedures

Works alongside charge nurse, director, and RCIS cath lab techs

Scrubs are provided
-
Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel positioning

Candidates must be available in-state for orientation week, even if initial modules are completed remotely

Facility can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
