We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Installer Technician to join our team. Duties
- Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, and refrigeration equipment according to schematics and HVAC design plans
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) systems to ensure peak performance
- Troubleshoot issues using tools such as ohmmeters and diagnostic schematics to identify electrical or mechanical faults
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and HVAC system diagrams for accurate installation and repair procedures
- Maintain detailed service records, complete shift reports, and document all work performed for quality assurance and compliance purposes
Skills
- Strong construction background with experience in building systems installation
- Proven service technician experience with a focus on HVAC systems or appliance repair
- Mechanical knowledge of HVAC components such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, fans, and ductwork
- Ability to read schematics and interpret HVAC design plans accurately
- Field service experience working directly at customer sites under tight deadlines
- Knowledge of plumbing systems related to heating and cooling applications
- Familiarity with property maintenance tasks involving air conditioning units and boiler systems
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate <PERSON> drivers or similar vehicles safely
- Skills in equipment repair, welding, maintenance procedures, and boiler operation are highly desirable
- Mechanical aptitude combined with problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex HVAC issues effectively
