Position Overview
We are seeking experienced CDL Class A Drivers to join our team. Drivers will be responsible for hauling containers and freight to and from ports, terminals, warehouses, and customer locations throughout the NJ/NY region.
This is primarily local work, allowing drivers to return home daily.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles
- Pick up and deliver containers from ports and terminals
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and required documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Follow all DOT and FMCSA regulations
- Ensure timely and professional deliveries
Qualifications
Required:
✔ Valid CDL Class A License
✔ Minimum 2 Years Verifiable CDL Driving Experience
✔ Valid TWIC Card
✔ Clean MVR and safe driving record
✔ Ability to pass DOT Drug Screening and Physical
✔ Reliable transportation to and from work
✔ Professional attitude and strong work ethic
Preferred:
- Port/Drayage experience
- Container hauling experience
- Knowledge of NY/NJ Port operations
