The primary role of the Banquet Server is to maintain dining ambience with an
enthusiastic and friendly attitude and serve guests with food and beverages in a positive and timely manner.
Core Responsibilities:
- Greets quests upon arrival and assist in seating as required by group; ensures a pleasant visit for each guest and maintains effective guest relations
- Participate in event setup and breakdown of the dining area for special and daily occasions, as well as contributing to overall cleanliness and presentation
- Serves guests food and beverage in a banquet event setting to ensure quality service is provided

Essential Functions:
1. Greets guests and presents menus.
2. Assists guests with food & beverage selections; makes recommendations.
3. Informs guests of current specials.
4. Promotes food & beverage products and services.
5. Serves food & beverage items to guests.
6. Responsible for ensuring that alcoholic beverages are not dispensed to people under the age of 21.
7. Takes payment for food & beverages utilizing prescribed cash procedures.
8. Recognizes and resolves guest complaints and concerns.
9. Maintains food & beverage quality and service standards for location.
10. Performs opening and closing procedures; contributes to overall cleanliness and organization of facility.
11. Ensures a pleasant visit for each guest; maintains effective guest relations.
12. Performs special projects delegated by management.
13. Stays updated on latest developments pertinent to the department as well as the location.
Opportunity for growth to take on additional responsibilities such as beverage cart, on-course bars, banquet server and bartender.
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
