Essential Job Duties:
· Prepare Ingredients: Wash, chop, and prep ingredients according to menu requirements and restaurant standards.
· Cook Menu Items: Cook a variety of menu items in accordance with established recipes, ensuring taste, portion size, and presentation meet restaurant expectations.
· Ensure Food Quality: Monitor the quality of ingredients and finished dishes, ensuring consistency and adherence to food safety guidelines.
· Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the kitchen area, equipment, and utensils clean and sanitized, adhering to hygiene standards and food safety regulations.
· Inventory Management: Assist in managing kitchen inventory, including monitoring stock levels, storing food items properly, and reporting shortages to the head chef or manager.
· Follow Safety Procedures: Comply with health, safety, and sanitation regulations in all aspects of food preparation and storage.
· Coordinate with Kitchen Staff: Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and smooth service, especially during peak hours.
· Assist with Menu Development: Contribute ideas for new dishes or menu changes as requested by the head chef.
· Handle Special Requests: Accommodate special dietary requests or food allergies to ensure a positive dining experience for guests.
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
