Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Showroom Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients visiting our showroom, guiding them through product selections, demonstrating features, and providing expert advice on window coverings. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills, technical knowledge of design and construction, and excellent communication abilities to deliver a memorable shopping experience.
Duties
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
- Conduct product demonstrations, including lighting design and layout options using tools like brochures, displays and product videos.
- Manage merchandising displays to ensure an attractive and organized showroom environment.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients through account management and follow-up communications.
- Support marketing initiatives by promoting new products and services to enhance customer engagement.
- Schedule in home sales consultation appointments for the Sales Staff.
- Review orders and order confirmations.
- Support Sales staff as required.
Experience
- Proven experience in customer service or retail sales within a showroom or similar environment.
- Knowledge of renovation, construction, interior design, or remodeling processes is preferred.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and product demos.
- Competence in basic math, retail math, cash handling, and customer service best practices.
