Duties
- Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Oversee daily store operations including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system management.
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, purchasing, and merchandising to maximize sales potential.
- Recruit, interview, train, and develop staff to ensure a high-performing team aligned with company standards.
- Implement employee orientation programs and ongoing training initiatives to enhance team skills.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide coaching, and foster a positive work environment.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints efficiently, and ensure excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are maintained.
Experience
- Proven management experience in retail or environments with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong background in retail sales, inventory management, and cash handling procedures.
- Demonstrated skills in negotiation, purchasing, pricing strategies, and sales management.
- Experience with payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and administrative tasks.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to better serve diverse customer bases.
- Prior assistant manager or supervisory experience is preferred; familiarity with POS systems and retail math is essential.
