Internal Medicine/Family Practice with 2 providers
M,T,W,F 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM THURS 8:30AM -3:00PM
Must be able to work for 2 providers, multi-task, and handle high volume
Greeting and rooming patients for 2 providers
Basic vital sign intake ( blood pressure, weight, height, pulse, O2, temp) along with documenting chief complaint, and get instruments needed for a visit if needed
Knowledge of Medications to assist and refill medication refill requests (blood pressure, diabetic medication, pain medication, thyroid medication, etc)
Knowledge on how to initiate/complete medication prior authorization requests
Experience in ordering Home health, DME, hospice orders
Perform POC test ( blood sugar, INR, and UA)
Administer immunizations and injections (flu shot, b12, Pneumovax, steroids)
Performing EKG's and diabetic eye exam on retinal camera
Able to assist Dr with procedures ( back, shoulder, knee, trigger point, hand injections)
Comfortable/ confident in calling patients for lab results, imaging results, etc
Cross-training of some front office duties such as scheduling appointments, check-in and check out, and collecting copays if help is needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
