Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. If you are an accomplished accountant looking for an opportunity to contribute your expertise while being a part of the team.
Position Summary:
The Senior Accountant will play a key role in maintaining the accounting records and transactions for multiple operating units; will be a key contributor to the financial closing processes; and will be involved in the preparation of the company’s income statement and balance sheet, account analysis/reconciliations of general ledger accounts, and monthly journal entries.
Job Duties
· Prepare monthly journal entries for financial statement close process.
· Prepare financial statements for a group of subsidiary companies.
· Prepare account reconciliations.
· Prepare GL bank reconciliations.
· Process customer and vendor payments via ACH through the bank online portal.
· Assist with audits.
· Review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in general ledger accounts.
· Perform accounting entries for payroll activity
· Accurately record and track company transactions.
· Project Accounting for construction and capital projects
· Special projects as needed, involving coordination and communication between various internal and external systems.
· Follow CSWR policies and guidelines at all times.
· Other tasks as assigned.
Education/Experience
· 2+ Years’ experience as an Accountant
· Bachelor’s Degree in finance or related field
· Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
· Experience posting revenue entries
· Hands-on
· Experience with expense reports Concur specifically is a plus
· Advanced MS Excel skills including V-lookups and pivot tables
· Experience with general ledger functions
· Experience with subsidiary and intercompany transactions
· Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
