MiraSol Health is seeking a Licensed Nurse Practitioner to join us full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:30-5:00. The successful candidate will be responsible for patient care and coordination with the interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:·
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Assist with patient assessments and provide nursing care based on individual needs
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient plans
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures, medications, and care
- Perform various medical procedures such as wound care, suture removal
- Provide health coaching and support to patients for managing chronic conditions
- Assist in discharge planning and coordination of post-hospital care
Skills:
- Valid LPN license in the state of South Carolina
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and medications
- Ability to perform laboratory tests and interpret results accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
