Position Overview
Chase Pays Cash is seeking a detail-oriented Material Procurement & Logistics Manager to oversee the ordering, tracking, and coordination of materials for residential remodeling projects. This role is responsible for ensuring materials are ordered accurately, shipped on time, delivered to the correct locations, and verified upon arrival to keep projects running efficiently and on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Source and order materials for residential renovation and remodeling projects.
- Coordinate deliveries with suppliers, vendors, contractors, and project managers.
- Track purchase orders, shipping schedules, and delivery timelines.
- Verify deliveries for accuracy, completeness, and quality.
- Resolve shipping delays, shortages, damaged materials, and vendor discrepancies.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate pricing when appropriate.
- Monitor material budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain organized records of purchase orders, invoices, deliveries, and vendor communications.
- Communicate material status updates to project managers and leadership.
- Forecast material needs based on project schedules and upcoming work.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, purchase orders, and inventory tracking systems.
- Excellent communication and vendor management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of residential construction materials is not required.
