Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field
- Must hold or be eligible for licensure in West Virginia
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Passion for helping individuals and families heal and grow
- Experience working with children, families, trauma, or community-based services is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual, family, and group counseling sessions via telehealth and in-person formats, tailoring approaches to developmental levels and trauma histories.
- Perform comprehensive client assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress in HIPAA-compliant records.
- Utilize evidence-based modalities (e.g., cognitive behavioral therapy, crisis intervention) and behavioral health strategies to reduce symptoms and improve functioning.
