Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, slicers, and other tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards, including sanitizing workstations and following proper food handling procedures.
- Support food production activities by preparing ingredients, managing inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of orders.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service hours while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Follow all food safety management protocols, including proper storage, temperature control, and sanitation practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation or as a cook in a restaurant or catering environment; pizza-making experience is highly desirable.
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and food handling.
- Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food safety management principles.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment efficiently in a high-volume production setting.
- Excellent food industry knowledge with an understanding of culinary best practices and recipe adherence
- Demonstrated ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
