About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable, hard-working General Construction Laborer to join our growing team. You’ll work on a variety of construction sites and projects, supporting skilled tradespeople, ensuring safety, and helping complete jobs on time and within budget. We construct grain bins, steel buildings and various other projects, many of which are built on a concrete foundation.
Summary:
As a General Construction Laborer, you will be an essential part of our construction team, contributing to the completion of various projects. With core skills in physical labor, equipment operation, and safety protocols, you will assist in tasks such as site preparation, material handling, and cleanup. Your premium skills in teamwork, problem-solving, and attention to detail will ensure efficient project execution and high-quality workmanship. Relevant skills in concrete work and construction tools will further enhance your ability to support our construction operations effectively. Key Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of Construction
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and tools
- Prepare and clean construction sites by removing debris and hazards
- Operate hand and power tools as needed
- Help erect and dismantle scaffolding, barricades, and temporary structures
- Follow instructions from supervisors and tradespeople
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Perform general physical labor and support construction tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Prior construction or labor experience preferred but not required
- Ability to follow safety protocols and procedures
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs.) and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a team-oriented attitude
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation a plus
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be 18 years of age or older
