Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Parking Lot Cleaning Specialist to help maintain clean, safe, and professional-looking commercial properties. This position is responsible for operating a company-provided non-CDL sweeper truck, removing debris, maintaining exterior areas, and ensuring assigned properties meet company cleanliness standards.
This role combines route driving with hands-on property cleaning and maintenance responsibilities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company-provided non-CDL sweeper truck and related cleaning equipment
- Remove trash, debris, leaves, dirt, and other materials from parking lots and exterior areas
- Clean sidewalks, curbs, dumpster enclosures, and building entrances
- Complete assigned service routes and schedules efficiently and on time
- Perform routine inspections of assigned properties and report maintenance concerns
- Conduct basic daily vehicle and equipment inspections and report mechanical issues promptly
- Maintain accurate service logs and communicate effectively with supervisors
- Follow all company safety procedures and traffic laws
- Provide professional and courteous customer service when interacting with clients or the public
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Flexibility to work overnight, early morning, weekend, or varying schedules as needed
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining clean properties
- Previous experience in driving, cleaning, maintenance, landscaping, or equipment operation is preferred but not required
