About the Role
Boileroom Rentals is looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to take full ownership of our day-to-day accounting and payroll. This is a hands-on role for someone who can run the books independently from start to finish — recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and keeping our financials accurate and up to date. If you take pride in clean books, meeting deadlines, and being the go-to person for all things accounting, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Manage the complete bookkeeping cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
- Reconcile bank, credit card, and other accounts on a regular basis
- Process full-cycle payroll accurately and on time, including related tax filings and deposits
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports
- Track rental income, expenses, and deposits
- Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation
- Assist with budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and preparing documents for the CPA at tax time
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax and reporting requirements
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a full charge bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
- Solid understanding of full-cycle bookkeeping and payroll processing
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks experience strongly preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- Discretion in handling confidential financial information
- Experience in the rental, property management, or real estate industry is a plus
