Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled
- Serve food, beverages, cocktails, and spirits with professionalism, showcasing your cocktail experience and spirits knowledge
- Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card payments, maintaining accuracy at all times
- Upsell menu items such as wines or specialty drinks to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist with food preparation or kitchen support when needed, demonstrating culinary experience and food industry knowledge
Experience
- MINIMUM THREE YEARS Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is REQUIRED; fine dining experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders and transactions seamlessly
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse customer needs
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy hours while maintaining high-quality service standards
- Experience with food handling, sanitation practices, and basic math for accurate check processing
- Host/hostess or bussing experience is advantageous; must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
