Dishwasher / Kitchen Prep Assistant – Part-Time

Good Eats Brownsville is a growing local meal prep business seeking a reliable, hardworking Dishwasher/Prep Assistant to join our kitchen team.
Schedule: Part-time, Monday, Friday and Saturday (days/hours to be discussed)
Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment quickly and thoroughly
- Keep the dish station, sinks, and surrounding areas clean and organized
- Sanitize equipment and utensils according to food safety standards
- Take out trash, keep kitchen floors clean and dry
- Assist kitchen staff with basic food prep (washing/chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, labeling containers, etc.)
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen workflow
- Restock supplies as needed (dish soap, paper towels, gloves, etc.)
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30-40 lbs
- Attention to detail and willingness to follow food safety guidelines
- Prior dishwashing or kitchen experience a plus, but not required — we’ll train the right person
Pay: $8.50 - $10.00 per hour
