West Sacramento: This assignment is for the 26/27 school year. This assignment is authorized up to 50 hours per week. Monday through Friday, 5 hours in-school and 3 hours in-home. There are after-school hours and evening hours. Some days, you may have a split shift. Family partakes in community outings and weekend sessions for sports, swim, etc. This family needs consistency. Frequent call outs are not urged to apply.
Tentative Schedule:
Monday through Friday:
5 hours in-school (Time is TBD)
2 days a week: 5pm - 8pm mom/dads house
3 days a week: 3:15pm - 6:15pm at grandparents house.
ADDITIONAL HOURS: This assignment may come with additional hours of 2 tutoring hours per week with a secondary case in West Sacramento. Less than 2 miles. These tutoring sessions may be held during the split shift with the other kiddo.
Start Date: As soon as possible. School hours upon background clearance.

RBT/BCAT Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ability to fill in client sessions for call outs
- Establishes & maintains therapeutic relationship by pairing self as a reinforcing entity and building the value for the client of social interaction with the BT
- Prompts safe and socially acceptable replacement behaviors in order to build a repertoire of communication, social interaction, and problem solving skills
- Fades prompts appropriately to promote both successful and independent responding
- Increases the frequency or duration of safe and appropriate replacement behaviors by providing access to reinforcers (desired items/actions, attention, or removal of demands/aversive situations)
- Accurately collects behavior data including: A-B-C, count, frequency, duration, latency, inter-response time, event, and interval based recording
- Follows the treatment plan goals and interventions utilizing sound judgment and seeks out appropriate consultation
- Collaborates with family and treatment team members to provide treatment effectively and without disruption to the environment or other individuals in the environment
- Applies feedback and training on ABA job performance given by the lead BCBA and/or BCaBA
- Collects skill acquisition, behavior reduction data, and daily session notes
Qualifications
- RBT Certification or Board Certified Autism Technician credential (preferred)
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and families
- Experience in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis, or paraeducation
- Knowledge of patient care and medical documentation practices
- Previous experience in order to perform on-call services
- Ability to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and behavior management techniques
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
