The Intake and Administrative Coordinator supports the daily operations of The Center for Restored & Connected Families by serving as the first point of contact for prospective clients, managing intake and scheduling, and providing general administrative support. This role requires strong communication, organization, confidentiality, and the ability to work efficiently in a behavioral health setting.
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls, emails, and online inquiries from prospective and current clients
- Gather basic client information and coordinate intake for new clients
- Verify insurance and payment information and explain next steps for services
- Schedule intake appointments and coordinate scheduling with therapists
- Maintain accurate client records and update information in practice management software
- Support general office operations, including scanning, data entry, paperwork, and file organization
- Assist clinicians and leadership with administrative tasks to help practice run smoothly
- Help support referral tracking and communication with referral sources when needed
- Additional duties as needed
Required Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
- College courses in psychology or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using EHR platforms like SimplePractice
- Administrative, intake, scheduling, or healthcare support role experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Christian faith background
