CT Technologist
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days (10:00 AM – 6:30 PM)
Schedule: Two Schedule Options Available
- Option 1: Sunday – Wednesday
- Option 2: Wednesday – Saturday
- 40 Hours per Week | On-call, weekends, and holidays as required
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of recent CT Technologist experience.
- Pediatric CT experience required.
- Experience using Epic electronic medical records.
- Experience operating Siemens CT scanners.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Current ARRT (CT) certification or NMTCB certification.
- Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or equivalent organization requiring hands-on skills verification.
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging, PACS, Radiology Information Systems (RIS), and HIPAA regulations.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous travel healthcare experience.
- Experience with advanced CT procedures, including cardiac CT, CT angiography, and biopsy assistance.
- Experience training or mentoring fellow technologists.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT examinations, including routine and advanced procedures such as CT angiography, cardiac CT, and biopsy assistance.
- Ensure accurate patient positioning, image quality, radiation safety, and proper documentation while transmitting studies to PACS.
- Operate CT imaging equipment and collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to support timely diagnostic services.
- Maintain patient records, imaging data, and compliance with HIPAA, departmental policies, and quality standards.
- Participate in on-call coverage, assist with workflow needs, and support departmental operations as assigned.
Pay: $80.00 - $85.00 per hour
