Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Store Manager to join our retail team. Responsibilities
- Assist other managers in supervising daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) transactions.
- Lead, motivate, and develop team members through effective training, coaching, and performance management to ensure high levels of customer service.
- Oversee inventory management processes such as stock replenishment, merchandising, pricing accuracy, and inventory control to optimize sales opportunities.
- Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing candidates and onboarding new employees to build a strong retail team.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and store procedures to maintain a secure shopping environment.
- Drive sales by implementing marketing initiatives, upselling products and promoting store promotions to meet sales targets.
Skills
- Proven experience in retail management or assistant management roles with supervising responsibilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and engage customers confidently.
- Proficiency in retail math for pricing, sales analysis, and cash handling accuracy.
- Excellent organizational skills for managing inventory control, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and administrative tasks.
- Knowledge of Comic books and Pop Culture is required
