Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting the dentist during procedures, taking patient vital signs, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for patients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Take and record patient vital signs
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist
- Take dental x-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Perform dental receptionist duties as needed
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience and skills:
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant
- Proficiency in using dental software such as Curve for appointment scheduling and record keeping

- Experience taking dental x-rays and processing them for diagnosis
