The Lead Accounting Advisor serves as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance and expert solutions to their complex accounting, financial, and business challenges. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong client relationship management skills, and the ability to lead and mentor junior staff. The Advisor will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality services that meet and exceed client expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Client Advisory Services:
o Provide expert advice on accounting, tax, and financial reporting matters.
o Develop and implement financial strategies to improve clients' financial performance.
o Build and maintain strong client relationships.
o Coordinate advice with other professional advisors
o Assist clients with transactions, such as M&A, due diligence, funding.
o Stay up-to-date on the latest accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends and software.
o Provide technical guidance and support to clients and staff on complex accounting issues.
o Conduct research and analysis to resolve technical accounting and tax matters.
o Review and approve financial statements and reports.
o Lead and manage client engagements, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services.
o Develop and manage project budgets and timelines.
o Coordinate and communicate with clients and team members throughout the engagement process.
o Ensure that all engagements are conducted in accordance with professional standards and firm policies.
o Hold team members accountable.
o Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
o Develop and maintain a network of professional contacts.
o Prepare and present proposals to prospective clients.
o Participate in industry events and conferences.
- Team Leadership and Mentoring:
o Mentor and develop junior staff, providing guidance and support.
o Lead and motivate engagement teams.
o Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
o Review the work of other staff members.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
