Director Position
We are seeking a highly-motivated and energetic Director with strong family communications, staff leadership skills and knowledge of the early childcare field. We are a small family-owned center and promote an excellent and family oriented working environment.
The Center Director is responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of education for all children within the center’s care. He/She will be accountable for overall operational management in accordance with DHS regulations and guidelines, including curriculum development, staff and facilities management, legal and budgetary considerations, and long-range planning. They will ensure that the needs of the students and the goals of the center are met appropriately.
Requirements:
AA Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or AA in any field with 30 ECE credits.
1-3 years previous experience working with young children
1-3 years working as a Center Director
Strong management and communication skills
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Strong leadership skills
Current Health Assessment and TB test
Child Abuse Clearance
PA State Police Background Check
FBI fingerprinting Clearance
2 written letters of reference and verification of previous experience
