Children’s Behavioral Services is seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our pediatric therapy team. This position works under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide high-quality therapeutic support that helps children strengthen communication skills and achieve meaningful progress.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Implement treatment plans and therapeutic activities designed to support client goals
- Document therapy sessions, progress notes, and treatment data accurately and timely
- Collaborate with speech therapists, occupational therapists, ABA providers, and caregivers to support continuity of care
- Prepare therapy materials and maintain a positive, engaging therapy environment
- Support a collaborative, child-focused approach to care
Qualifications
Required:
- Current Missouri SLPA license or eligibility for licensure
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary pediatric setting
Preferred:
- Experience working with children in pediatric, educational, or clinical settings
- Experience supporting children with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, or communication disorders
