DRIVER & MOVER REQUIREMENTS
Driver Requirements:
Kentuckiana Moving, LLC is searching for a qualified and dependable Driver to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for transporting household goods and furniture for our valued customers across the Kentuckiana region and the United States. You'll play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and stress-free moving experience for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and maneuver various moving trucks, adhering to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Load, unload, and secure furniture and household goods with care, minimizing the risk of damage.
- Assist movers with lifting and carrying furniture and boxes.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while interacting with customers.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive moving experience.
- Follow all company safety protocols and procedures.
- Complete daily paperwork and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record must have all DOT requirements.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a driving role (preferably in the moving industry).
- Strong lifting ability (must be able to lift and carry heavy objects).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive and professional attitude.
- Clear communication and interpersonal skills.
Mover Requirements:

About the Role:
As a Mover at Kentuckiana Moving, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient loading, unloading, and transportation of our customers' belongings. You'll work alongside a friendly and professional crew to ensure a smooth moving experience for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Carefully load and unload furniture, boxes, and other household items onto our moving trucks.
- Secure belongings with straps and padding to prevent damage during transport.
- Assist customers with disassembly and reassembly of furniture (experience preferred, but not required).
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service with a positive and professional attitude.
- Lift and carry heavy objects (up to 100 lbs).
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of moving experience preferred (willing to train the right candidate).
- Strong work ethic with a commitment to quality and efficiency.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects safely.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (a plus).
