Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Driver/Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to combine driving responsibilities with warehouse operations, ensuring timely delivery of our cleaning services while maintaining smooth warehouse functions. The ideal candidate will be proactive, safety-conscious, and customer-focused, ready to contribute to our fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks and personal vehicles for delivery routes, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards
- Load, unload, and move items using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks
- Manage warehouse operations including inventory management, stock organization, and manual handling of materials
- Ensure accurate delivery and pickup of garments, providing excellent customer service during interactions
- Follow safe lifting practices when handling heavy or bulky items to prevent injury
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse area
- Utilize mobile devices for route navigation, delivery documentation, and communication with team members
Qualifications
- Proven warehouse experience with knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling equipment operation
- Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience; experience driving box trucks or commercial trucks preferred
- Delivery driver experience with a strong focus on route driving and adherence to traffic laws
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using proper manual handling techniques
- Familiarity with DOT regulations related to commercial vehicle operation and weight handling in the workplace
- Experience using mobile devices for work-related tasks such as navigation or communication
- Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude during deliveries and pickups
