Responsibilities
- Conduct the nightly audit process by reconciling daily financial transactions using property management systems (PMS) such as PEP or similar platforms.
- Ensure all guest accounts are accurately updated and balanced, preparing reports for management review.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and delivering a warm, welcoming experience through multi-line phone systems and front desk interactions.
- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs during overnight hours with professionalism and efficiency, adhering to hotel policies and phone etiquette standards.
- Monitor security cameras and perform routine property inspections to uphold safety protocols and hotel emergency procedures.
- Handle late-night reservations, modifications, or cancellations using hospitality reservation systems while maintaining clear client communication.
- Document incidents or irregularities through detailed shift reports, ensuring compliance with hotel policies and safety standards.
- Assist with guest relations by providing local information, resolving complaints, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction during their stay.
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality management, front desk operations, or hotel management roles.
- Strong knowledge of property management systems (PMS), especially PEP or equivalent platforms.
- Exceptional customer service skills with problem-solving abilities to address guest concerns effectively.
- Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable to enhance guest interactions across diverse populations.
- Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and security protocols to ensure guest safety at all times.
- Excellent phone communication skills coupled with multi-line phone system proficiency and phone etiquette expertise.
- Resort experience or previous night audit roles preferred for a comprehensive understanding of hospitality operations.
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining high energy levels and attention to detail.
