RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare ingredients according to established recipes and chef direction, including chopping, portioning, mixing, labeling, and proper storage

Maintain clean, sanitized, and organized prep stations

Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries

Ensure all food preparation complies with safety and sanitation standards

Support line cooks and culinary leadership during service as needed

Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and work areas

Communicate proactively regarding inventory or product concerns

REQUIREMENTS FOR A KITCHEN PREP COOK

18+ years old

Good work history

Understanding of cooking methods and procedures

Excellent knife-handling skills

Ability to enthusiastically and thoroughly follow instructions

Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment

Ability to easily carry 40+ lbs
Experience as a prep cook is preferred but is not required.
