American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position at a Joint Commission accredited community hospital and regional referral center in Lake Havasu City, AZ, requiring a minimum of 2 years of critical care experience and AHA certifications.

Located on the 2nd floor ACU/PACU of a 171-bed community hospital and regional referral center
-
Level III Trauma Center and Certified Chest Pain Center

12-bed PACU unit with patient ratios of 2:1 or 4:1 depending on the area of care

Afternoon/evening shift: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
-
Float requirements include rotation within ACU and PACU (Pre-op, Phase I, and Phase II)

On-call required approximately 5–6 days per month, including 1 weekend day and 1 Friday per rotation; staff select their own call shifts

EMR: Medhost and CQI
-
13-week contract
-
Active AZ RN license or compact RN license currently in hand

Current AHA certifications required: ACLS and PALS
-
Minimum 2 years of PACU or ICU experience required

Critical care background (PACU/ICU) is required; Cath Lab experience is preferred as the PACU team staffs Cath Lab recovery

Travel experience is preferred

Navy blue scrubs required; scrubs are facility-provided

Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible

Candidates cannot be employed full-time elsewhere while on assignment
