As a Material Handler , you’ll play an essential role in keeping Cleveland Clinic Main Campus running smoothly by ensuring nursing units and departments have the supplies, linens and medical necessities they need, when they need them. This is a customer service-focused, fast-paced role where your work directly supports caregivers and helps ensure they can provide timely , efficient patient care.

The ideal candidate is dependable, service- minded and comfortable staying active throughout the day, including spending extended time on their feet and performing lifting. With strong communication and collaboration skills, you’ll help keep operations moving and contribute to an environment where patients, caregivers and the community can thrive.
A caregiver in this position works 4 10-hour shifts per week, Wednesday - Saturday, 5:00 am - 3:30 pm.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Receive, sort, put away, pick and deliver supplies, mail, patient records and other items as required .
Put away freight, supplies, packages, and perishable items from dock facilities using materials handling equipment.
Stock picking locations using the warehouse management system, either manually or utilizing materials handling equipment according to identifying information (size, style, and numbers) ensuring the safe movement of materials.
Respond to inquiries related to materials in stock, ordering procedures, status of item , or filled orders.

Physical Requirements:
- Requires full range of body motion, including handling and lifting items that weigh up to 50 pounds.
- Requires the ability to push a fully loaded cart weighing up to 800 pounds and pull a 2500-pound pallet using a manual pallet jack.
- Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time.
- Lifts and carries.

Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $15.00
Maximum hourly: $18.44
